On a related note, ringing cell phones have also generated enough of an electrical sparkto ignite gasoline vapors when people were fueling their cars at the gas station. I turn mine off without fail when go to get gas. That doesn't mean set it to vibrate, turn it completely off. If you've ever seen a burn victim firsthand, you'll understand why I NEVER forget to shut it off!

The gas station/cell phone exploding from the ring myth is bullshit. The battery exploding because it is infereior is not. Don't buy cheapie batteries for your cell phone. Only use the recommended battery by the cell phone manufacturer.
Cell phones do not make gas stations explode. It is bullshit and has been proven to be a chain letter.
