I went to this movie today. ummmm, there are definately some exciting things going on...but yeah... I think old Oliver Stone could have done a bit better job.

I don't know if he died in Babylon, but that dye job makes Farrell look like a Babylonian wh0re. A poor choice for Alexander, in my opinion.

He died in Babylon, I believe, but there is some question as to how he died. Poison was always an issue in those days. On the other hand, he had been severely wounded during the campaign in India, so it's quite possible he died of an infection as a result. Also, he was reputed to be a heavy drinker in the last part of his life, so that might have contributed.

to be honest, I went and saw the Incredibles. Now that, is an awesome movie. and you don't have to worry about Colin Farrell's bad dye job in it!

In the movie he's poisoned, but then the guy tellign the story tells his servant who's writing it as he talks to say that he died of a fever.

Yes..Colin Farrel's whole irish accent was really stupid, the battle scenes are really cool, super gore...half hte cast is missing an eye. And there is a big stress on the fact that Alexander was supposedly bi-sexual. Not that that's necessarily bad but I thoguht they spent way too much time emphasizing that point....not enough tiem was spent on the hardships of their journeys....they were always already there as opposed to actually traveling and suffering.


Harold and Kumar had more substance.
