My CD collection is growing way to fast.I must have added about 150-200 CDs in the last 6 months , which is a lot for me.I am more into the hard rock ,power metal stuff with some prog so keep them coming.While I can appreciate some of the death , black metal stuff , the vocals kind of kill it for me.

Gorgasm is a nice brutal Death Metal band out of Chicago. Not much media at their website. They have a song on the Unique Leader website called Concubine of Despise, which is off their latest release Masticate to Dominate.

I'm going to step away from the PC today ...I will be home all day. Thinking of Dime . He was such a cool character and one hell of a player ..one of the greats in my book man...

They say the shooter was angry because Dime broke up Pantera ....a friend of mine was at the show...and that's what I got out of it..

I'm glad the cops shot the shooter..I wish I shot the bastage.

This is what I mean man ...human pollution there is people in this world that just should not be ...but I'n hated for saying such things..by phony "clueless and sheltered" ass holes!!!

but if we didn't have these kind of people in our world ..Dime would still be with us ...like so many other innocent good people...

Angelcorpse - Jesus fuckin' Christ. These guys just played faster and angrier than anyone else around. The music was sort of like a faster, more pissed off Morbid Angel. Technical as hell, fast as hell, with pissed off, yet somehow groovy music. There are more evil riffs in one Angelcorpse song than most bands can conjure up on an entire album

Cinerary - A sort of underground death metal "supergroup", only did one Ep and a handful of shows. My buddy Ricky(Disgorge, CA) played/plays drums for them. Super-fast triggered drumming, squealing guitars, REAL low vox, courtesy of Matti Way. This one is full of all the stuff that most people hate about death metal, which is what makes it great. Play this sh!t next time your at a stoplight and the jock in his mom's Camaro is blasting Disturbed!!

Disgorge, from CALIFORNIA the Mexican one is brutal too, but the CA one is the original, and better - OK, these guys are really good friends of mine. We party together all the time, I drive to San Diego for their shows, they come to L.A. for my parties. Anyways, these guys are quite possibly the most brutal band in the world. Deep growling vocals, FAST fuckin' drumming from Ricky Myers, these guys are sort of like Suffocation, but played at Hate Eternal/Nile speed. Also darker. This is the sh!t that you smoke a big fattie to, sit back, turn it up and they crush your head so thouroughly that you damn near crap your pants. They've been practicing about 5 days a week for years, and now they are writing a new album, which I have heard most of the material for. Now they have a second guitar player, and they are much tighter, faster and darker than ever before. Not just your typical gore lyrics either. The new vocalist Levi has actually written a concept album, this album being the first installment. These guys are playing Japan at the Beastfest soon, and they will be on top next, just watch. Get the new album when it comes out if you like brutal guitar playing. You will NOT be sorry.

IMMOLATION - An older band, but still as good as anyone else out there. Smoke a bowl, listen to Close to a World Below, and start praying, that sh!t is BLASPHEMOUS!! Guitars swirling down to hell, lightning fast drumming , and a singer that will send shivers down your spine.

Incantation - Another older band. Not always the fastest,though their new album is quickest yet, what these guys have is just EVIL sounding music. The songs go from Kyle's untriggered pure muscle blast beats to slow as hell doom pieces. My favorite songs are usually the ones on the second half of the album that sort of flow into each other. The whole thing is very dark, powerful, and is still musical. Not melodic or pleasant at all, but dark and brutish. These guys are old school evil metal.

Krisiun - You guys may well be familiar with these guys. The three Brazilian guys who look like they want to kick your a$$ with their playing. Fast, chaotic, yet structured. Did I say fast? The vocals are sort of intelligible, think Beneath the Remains, but ten times heavier and angrier. The music moves at a fast pace from beginning to end. The control and pure strength they put into their playing is amazing. Crank up "Creation's Scourage" off their Apcolyptic Revalations album for the first time, and you'll be AFRAID to see them live.

APESRITY - The Final Deman (Arise) These Swedes are two members of the awesome Carnal Forge ...this is complete , polished and great straight forwardPower metal that is more leaner and not just all about slaying Dragons...no dragons slaying here ...just kick ass Metal..great playing , songs and production...very very good!

EASY RIDER -Regeneration (Locomotive) A MUST for ANY fan of Power metal..This is one of my faves...These guys are from Spain and Regenration is the first out of four releases that has their new singer which is American I believe..which kicked this band even more in the ass..a true must have for fans of Preist , Gamma Ray , Primal Fear , Brainstorm....yes it's that good. Their earlier stuff is in Spanish but their third release "Evilution" and especially their latest Regeneration is definitely worth hunting down and buying .. it will get a lot of play I promise..I got mine from Ebay because nobody carried it.... it's worth the hunt..REGENERATION ..get it!ESSENTIAL
