This sucks,I remember when Cowboys first came out in '90 me and my buds was freaking over his playing and we was talking about how badass Pantera was.I got my cousin into them hardcore and to this day Dime is still his favorite.He will be crushed when he hears the news.Dimes riffs were amazing and today's news is just to much to take.I grew up on Pantera.I'm so greatfull that I got to see him live a few times.Still to this day my all time favorite concert was when they played Indy at the Pepsi Colesieum Nov.24,2000.REST IN PEACE DIMEBAG YOU WILL FOREVER BE MISSED.

this is the worst day in the history of metal. Darrell was a good guy. I am pouring a Black Tooth now. Sad sad stuff. I met him when he was still Diamond Darrell and sold him my Dean ML. I will miss him and his music. R.I.P.

I hopped on here about 15 minutes before my Biochem exam to relax. This didn't help. I'll be playnig all the Pantera cds this weekend.

While I was never a fan of Pantera, and haven't heard much of it to get into the guitar part of it, this just truly f'ing blows.
I am sooooooooooooooo glad the shooter got killed instead of some punkass jail sentence like that Chapman douche that shot Lennon.

Well maybe it is just this madness where fans think they are part of the show. This stems from the NBA brawl etc... Sadly the NBA Brawl is escalated by this actually murdering someone on stage. I am a big fan of Dime's so it is real sad....
