I want to thank Shawn Sexton (Sierra Nevada) from sdmfworldwide.com for calling Chad Lee and I in Chicago and bringing it to our attention, first and foremost.

Right now, I myself, and the entire Doome Crew Inc., those I've spoken to, can't even begin to try to fuckin' assmble words in sentences to tell you guys how we feel.

Give us a few days to circle the wagons. Whatever comes across officially from the family will be conveyed, as always, humbly by us.

this is awful....a sad day for music. this tragedy is a reminder just how much we take for granted....life is too short. probably a good idea to use this holiday season to reconnect with those from our past. RIP Dime. you will be missed, but the music and your influence to other players lives on.

Dimebag was one of the last great hopes for Metal guitar that survived the 80's and 90's.

He will be greatly missed.

Hey guys I am in the process of downloading all kinds of Video and audio of Dime with Pantera and Damageplan. Lots of cool Vids on Bearshare and Kazaa. Also Dimes tribute to Rhoads stuff is excellent. What a tragic shame. WTF!

To piggyback on what Sam said, I read this excerpt from that discussion board and if you read the whole post, you'll see where this guy is spouting off about his experience, how horrific it was, and in the same breath talks about selling his ticket that's spattered with DBD's blood on ebay.
