Hey all, on behalf of the administration and the fine folks at Chicagowebs, I'd first like to thank you for your donations! So far, we've raised just over $600! Without trying to sound like I work for public TV, I know that we can hit $1000!
Thanks to some recent developments, we've decided to sweeten the pot a bit, so to speak. If you are able to donate $20 or more, you'll get a DVD of the Headbanger's Ball and Fuse tributes to Dimebag!
A memorial fund has been created to aid help cover bereavement and medical expenses for DAMAGEPLAN's head of security, Jeffrey "Mayhem" Thompson, and two other band employees injured in last week's shooting that resulted in the death of the group's guitarist, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. Checks can be sent to The Dimebag Darrell Memorial Fund at 110 SW Thomas, Burleson, TX 76028.
Anyway, there ya go. And please, if you're able to donate ANYTHING (hell, i was only able to donate $10 at this time), it'll go a long way.
