I agree the DP is a joke - I heard he will likely die of natural causes first. I say give them three months to put an appeal together then fry them! Why should tax payers have to pay to support scum like this?
Well at least he didnt get tried in Canada. Up here he would have went to Club Fed, where he would have a menu to order food, have access to a golf course, and have a higher standard of living than many people living in other countries including the lower class of the USA.............And to think, those Democrat assholes want to emulate our system.............
Well, if they let him mingle with the general population, someone will probably take out his arrogant ass long before his appeals are up.
Look at Jeffrey Dahmer; he did his crimes in a state with no death penalty, but another inmate killed him with a toilet plunger! Fate has its ways of getting these fukks.
So Scott Peterson? I don't think they dig babykillers much in prison. He may be begging for solitary confinement in a few months, and I hope that's denied.
I say put Peterson on a cable pay per view special, where they drop him into an 'Oz' like prison, then offer inmates a full hour of conjugal visits with a porn star for every broken bone he recieves. Oh yeah, and fifteen minutes for each tooth they knock out. Only rule is, he can't die - if he does, then they ALL lose the visits.
I'm still amazed they found him guilty... I was sure he was going to be found 'innocent' ala OJ.
The worst part about this is he may not be put in with general population for two reasons. One for being a high profile case and two because he is "on death row". I'm pretty sure here in Maryland the death rowers are kept in a seperate unit so they can be closely monitored and also so if they get to the end of their appeals they don't try to take some more people out before they go. Just sucks complete ass that he may not to get to feel the warm embrace of 30 or 40 of his cohabitants all at once.

So now killing an unborn fetus is murder?
This was a rigged case IMO. The sympathies of women jurors were played on like the proverbial guitar strings to convict him and to get the Death Penalty.
Any time I heard anything about this case it was "...Laci and Connor.." or some other way of stressing the point she was pregnant.
Was the truth ever sought, or was everyone so anxious to get the case over with that they would settle for whoever was the most likely suspect?
If he confesses, OK then, but I didn't hear anything about conclusive evidence. So he had a girlfriend or two? Doesn't make him a killer, much less a butcher.
Seems to me everyone was focused only on the "pregnant" issue rather than the truth.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
The most human thing we can do is comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.
The reason why this was so heineous is that they figured one of the motives involved was he killed her because she was pregnant and that she was due to have the child, so it was 8th 9th month=last term and basically a newborn.
So instead of having the kid aborted earlier, or leaving her, divorcing her and paying child support..he murdered her. In doing so, he ended the life of the child. So 1st degree manslaughter for the cold premeditated murder, and 2nd degree manslaughter for the unborn child I believe was how it came down. However you slice it, both would still be alive n kicking if had just packed up his shit and moved to another state with or w/o his mistress.
In this case Matt it is murder of the unborn. She was nearly full term. Premature babies can live even being born a couple months early.
I thought all along they guy was guilty, the time that it took for the jury to reach a verdict tell it all. I'm pretty sure the general public didn't get the whole story of what went down. The fact that they sentences him to death and whacky state (law wise) like California also proves the point.
He was snickering during the trial... This guy was guilty.
I heard some facts that there are more suicides on Death Row in California than actual executions. I also heard that there are more deaths from colds on Death Row than actual executions in California. Wipe him out quick. I am all about capitol punishment.
I keep the bible in a pool of blood
So that none of its lies can affect me
To me his actions spoke louder than words. He dyed his hair and ran for Mexico, he was very evasive in his TV interviews prior to his arrest. Innocent men don't run. I do believe this guy is guilty of the murder.
If I was on the jury I could not have found him guilty BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT. All of the prosecutions evidence was circumstantial. Nothing they had pinpointed Peterson as the killer. To have found him guilty shocked me with the evidence they had. Then give him the death penalty surprising. I think from what I have seen from the jury interviews so far they were out for Peterson's head from the get go. I forget who the interview was with yesterday but they had said that if her body was found in Yosemite, or somewhere else other than Scott's fishing spot he would have never been brought to trial.
Given the issues they had with the jury I feel had a good deal with the guilty verdict as well. It like they 'removed the obstacles'. Even tho I personally thought he was of guilt in this, I thought he had a decent chance of being aquited or even on the verge of a mistrial until they started replacing jurors.
