You could never convict on circumstantial evidence if the standard was beyond all doubt, so you have to use reasonable doubt or many criminals would walk for their crimes.As for OJ, that just proves you just need a jury that's 9 out of 12 black women from downtown L.A. who think "De white b1tch deserved it" for taking OJ away from a good black woman and they will vote that he can do no wrong. It was also payback for Rodney King's police attackers getting off easy. They had Ron and Nicole's blood in OJ's Bronco for fukk's sake!

I think Newc's point was whether or not he should be convicted on the evidence provided, not how heinous the crime was. And it's 1st and 2nd degree murder. Manslaughter is when you kill someone by accident.

[img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] It's borderline embarrassing to see hundreds of people sitting around watching this case like some kind of sporting event - the cheering, high-fives, and carrying on was too much for me. And 95% of them seemed like the "daytime TV, Montel, Maury, Oprah" crowd. Don't these people have jobs? [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] Long story short, when shit like this is what makes the NATIONAL headlines while brave Americans are being murdered by militant radicals in the Middle East, I find it simply appalling. It just proves once again that we are a nation of reality TV junkies in the WORST sense of the word. Go out and live your own life (and do it as best you can - try to make a positive contribution EVERY day...) rather than trying to live it vicariously through others. Simply disgusting.
