Anyone here tried Gmail yet? Thought it would be invite free by now, but guess not. I've never gotten an invite, so if anyone has one, and thinks it's worth using, feel free to invite me. No big deal, but just have wanted to check it out.

Re: Gmail
I have one, but don't use it, but I've heard the SPAM is getting awful, but that goes with the territory...
Haven't checked it in a while, how do I know if I have an invite for someone else? Is it assumed that if you get an invite, you have invites for others? I didn't see anything that stuck out to do this...
I think there are a few around ehre that may have an invite or two ( used to be not too long ago anyway )

if you use a mac you have to use google as a browser to get into your gmail. a small inconvenience if you are used to other browsers but other than that small issue it kicks ass. no spam. a gig of space... the layout is nice... it is the future of email imo.

You can't use the Mac version of Firefox? I highly doubt that.
As for Gmail, I use it regularly, and it's great. Just their privacy issues are a concern, but I don't care if they direct advertise to me. I don't feel threatened like a lot of people seem to.The 2nd Amendment: America's Original Homeland Defense.
