I found a animation on msnbc.com that shows the tsunami in movement, quite interesting. It said there the wave traveled 3,000 mile course in 6 hours to the African coast. Holy shit I cant imagine a huge wall of water moving at a speed of 500 miles per hour. Thats unbelievable physics going on there....just amazing.... Boy, you forget just how powerful mother nature is. We humans are like buzzing house flies compared to the power of the earth and its elements. Just staggering....there is nothing like the power of fast moving water. I have been fishing in fast moving rivers, let me tell you; you dont need much water moving fast to make you unstable. YOu get a fast river only 1 foot deep and its hard to walk in, make that 2 feet and you really got your hands full and can barely make it, 3 feet deep and you cant lose it and drown easily. Mother nature is something you need to have respect for, its very very powerful.
