I love playing Neoclassical stuff, and shreddery and whatnot. But in the end it's the BLUES that I fall back on.

I like to play too many genres of music I think to pick a favorite that I could fall into and I don't really play one style all the time. For me, I simply cannot pick one absolute favorite!

But I do have a particular fondness for my steel-string acoustic, and fingerstyle is my favorite because it feels so good. Usually I play an improv that sounds classical/spanish-y I suppose, or something I can sing along with, usually something rhythm and bluesy.
Playing power/thrash metal on an acoustic is really funny too. "Power acoustic" I call it. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I gave up on trying to become good a long time ago. I don't have any talent, anyways.

My favorite thing in the world is to put on a 25 minute Blues Jam of SRV and Buddy Guy, and just blend in there as the third stringer. Playing with the greats! Awesome Awesome stuff.

I hope to play like that in smokey, dark pubs and bars someday, and do that for a living.

Neo-classical with hints of blues and metal. I love playing chuggy metal riffs with some old school neo-classical/blues shredding. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

i honestly couldn't tell you what my style is...i just play what i feel and think sounds right for the song...as for trying to make a style?...i always wanted to be the perfect cross between paul gilbert and david gilmour...lol...d.m.

I can't really define my style, at least not in a simple word or two. I take a lot of influence from prog rock, ambient black metal, and neoclassical shred.

I listen to a lot of death metal but I don't really play with a death metal sound. My music doesn't sound brutal like death metal at all. When I want to sound "evil" I usually go for that grim black metal kinda vibe.
