Re: Favorite Music Downloading Program

although my connection download speed is considerably higher than the upload, when using torrents, I am always uploading faster than I get back... Bah...

I used to get some DL speed well over 100kbs or so, now it's rarely above 30.

Re: Favorite Music Downloading Program

With bitComet, you can adjust the % of uploading so you are not spending all your internet by just giving.
You can set it unlimited for the download and minimum such as 1-3% for the uploading.
So It's like I get about 50-55KBs of downloading and only 3KBs of uploading.

I use Emule (Razorback2 server) as well. I love it and have found so many obscure out of print albums! Just recently got Cats In Boots - Kicked and Clawed. An oldie but a goodie.

I must have been on the wrong DC++ hubs, I couldn't really find anything I didn't already have. Then again, power metal is not very popular to begin with so obscure power metal is very hard to find.

unfortunately, Sharing The Groove has been out of action for some time now. It was a great source for bootlegs. I've got piles of CDs I burnt from concerts I got there.

kazaa lite build from a couple years ago. I've got a little stuff from bittorrent, but havn't played with that in a while.
