Funny, I called a large offshore wagering house with offices in Costa Rica and Canada. You see, in the U.S. they can only give odds on sports and gaming. There is no odds making on 'unusual' bets like the Academy Awards for example. So I called the General Manager and we talked. He said that he doesn't take any bets like that because there's been too much 'trouble' in the past. Many offshore parlors won't take bets outside of sports or gaming anymore. But he listened, regardless. I gave him the website (www.iwantmyweddingatdunkindonuts.com) and told him who he was speaking with. After logging onto the site, his word verbatim were: "Oh....there's no way I'd take bets on this, you guys will win for sure! In fact, I just voted for you, and......I'm going to tell my entire office to do the same." WOW!!! [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img] When you find that even bookies offshore won't take the bet, then I guess you know... [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] But I will not rest until the end. The campaign continues. Anyone want to lend their car's back window for a promotional? I'm going to use those removable wax markers that car dealerships use on their cars; except the messages will read: "VOTE FOR 'DREW & MARY' AT www.IWANTMY..." [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
