Stone have some of the most memorable riffs. When I hear Bitch or Gimme Shelter, or just about all of their songs, I know who it is immediately after the first couple of notes. Creedence was another of those groups.........I'm dating myself though!

oh yeah, acdc is the stuff, but they have nowhere near as much material as the stones or the who. it's a fact.

Hmmm, could be, but ACDC has been releasing albums since the early 70s also, pretty much all three cord wonders. I never counted up the number of songs, but I have not totaled up the Who or Stones stuff either.

dude, you are dead on balls accurate about the mighty acdc, but nobody has more tunes than the stones, who, beatles, or maybe even zeppelin. trust me, i'm 106 years old, but i look 27.

Google is your friend, but I'm lazy too. I just know Akerfeldt is the guy from Opeth. Not my thing, but a lot of people seem to think they're the most brilliant band ever for whatever reason.
