I'll start... White Sox
Maggs is gone on my Sox but KW is filling our holes with lesser name guys. Couple of Former Yanks on our Staff and El Duque came into camp in "the best shape of his career" and passed his physical with "flying colors." He also told Kenny to put him through the wringer too because he was confident in his health. The incentives in his deal are great because he has to win Comeback Player of the Year and make the All-Star team to reach full incentives. Regardless he is only our 5th starter so that is fine. I am pumped we really only have the Twins to battle with so we have a good chance to win our Divison

like tommy, i too, am in training; i plan on bringing my feared and revered knuckle curve down to ft meyers for sox spring training in a few weeks.

that said,

i'm curious to see how the white sox do this year. admittedly, i haven't watched them much this past season, and i'll be sad to see maggs go. i liked that kid alot, but like a friend told me "support the team, not the player."

that said, i'm sad to have lost pedro; not to mention that his comments after his departure make him seem like a dumped girlfriend, but i trust theo. i have a feeling that miller's gonna be the deal of the season for us, and although i don't wanna put it on par with getting schill, but if he stays healthy (which he is now), he may certainly fill quite a void. we'll have to see how wells does, but his contract certainly is laid out correctly, so hopefully he'll do better for the carmines than he did with my other favorite sox. i'm reserving comment on clement; the cub stink is on him, but thankfully that stink didn't follow mueller and bellhorn, so maybe he'll have the season he's supposed to have.

and now, the evil empire. not much to say, other than oy. thankfully money spent doesn't always equate championships won, but they needed pitching they didn't have this past season. only time will tell, i guess.

all i can say (as i sit here in my red sox hoodie) is that i'm lookin forward to the season, for sure.

Dude we are already getting shit about how Randy is "going to put the Sox right back where they belong". Not all Yankee fans mind you. One that works with my wife is dreading this season. Every pitcher they acquired is national league. When you look at last years national league pitchers that moved to the American league only Curt Schilling performed equal to or better than his previous years. I can't believe they let Lieber and El Duque walk. Next to Mussina they were the two best starting pitchers the Yankees had. Vazquez would have been fine last season if the never pitched him on 3 days rest in the middle of the season. After that he never got back into a groove. I'm not saying the Sox starting rotation is going to be any better. But Yankee fans need to wake up and smell the coffee. The Dynasty is over after 4 years straight of not winning a series. Personally I think it's true what people are saying. The 80's are coming back. Yankee fans should love that. lol

What is Baltimore going to look like next year word is they are going after Delgado and maybe Maggs will end up there

Baltimore will cave to the Yankees. Because they still have Mazzilli managing the team. Ex-Yankee. Bad move on there part. And the Sox will lose more games than they should against them. lol I don't think they will get Delgado or Maggs. Rumor has it Maggs will be a Detroit Tiger.

Yeah Boras has been a busy beaver lately. Getting most of his free agents signed now that Beltran and Lowe have deals.
