Re: I am Dying for it Lets Talk MLB

[ QUOTE ]
Mueller won the July 24th game with a walk off home run on a pitch the "Sandman" threw. And who hit that ball off Rivera in game 4 of the ALCS that laid Rivera out on the ground and tied the game that eventually lead to the Sox victory over the Yankees in the ALCS.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yea, Aaron Boone hit an ALCS ending shot, but he still blows. I think that made him 1 for 455 on the season. Don't get me wrong, it was still worth the Yanks paying several million for just one hit.
He's not that good at basketball either.

Remember the good old days then Tommy. Instead of a dive from the field to the seats, Jeter is going to be diving from the upper deck when he has another A-Rod like ego to deal with. Jeter will be fed up when he tries to rally that team and they pout in the corner like last year. This is a nice new introduction from your top acquisition for the season.

"Welcome to New York Mr. John"........."Get the **** out of my face". lol Are the Yankee games going to be allowed to be televised? Randy may have written into his contract that any game he pitches be camera free.

i read this book on shoeless joe, and it started out with something that blew me away.
Ty Cobb was driving up north to some baseball dinner with his buddies (if he had any left)and he stopped at a convenience store where shoeless joe was working behind the counter!!!! Ty Cobb says-"aren't you joe jackson?" joe jackson says yes i am, and then ty cobb pulls out a baseball and asks for his autograph. shoeless joe could only sign an x on the ball as he never learned to read or write while ty cobb was extremely educated and richer than hell with all his stocks and holdings. amazing how things turn out. but cobb did ask for his autograph and that speaks tons in my book.

Bill Mueller was also the batting champ for the 2003 season. I'd take Bill Mueller over Cap'n Gay-Rod any day of the week.

Mussina again will have a bruised ego. Even though he is the ace of that team he always ends up playing second fiddle to some new acquisition. I hope Moose gets what he wants and gets to end his career with the Orioles where he belongs.

i swear to god i'd rather lose than see wells in a sox uniform. i fukkin' love that guy. he's a gamer. i can't believe he's on the sox. not right. like when clemens came to the yanks. it did not seem right, and we dealt wells for him right after wells saved our asses in '98 against cleveland when we were down 2-1 in the alcs. he won game one and a huge game four. or was it 5?

No way. lol You loved Petite also. Look at the shitty way George treated him. Same as Mussina. All because Mussina said winning isn't the most important thing in life. Not upset about you guys getting A-Rod at all. We wouldn't have won a world series without Slappies help. lol I'm sad Nomar was traded but glad Cabrera filled the gap. And I'm happy they got Renteria this year. In the long run we still have a great shortstop. Even though I'm going to miss Nomar.

Speaking of Wells. After the whole Mendoza thing I never wanted to see another former Yankee pitcher again. But I think Wells is going to fit in with that crew of guys. He's a f'in nut also.
