• welp, it's official... I'm terrified

Today Desiree and I went to sign the loan papers on our new house!!
I don't recall ever in my life being as terrified as I currently am. Man this is going to mean one hell of a lifestyle change. I'm going to have to learn to..gulp..... cook When people told me about buying a house before and it was a pain in the ass I really didn't understand.... now I'm a believer, and I ain't no receiver. The bank broker lender state etc. are however very large receivers of my money
Real estate in CA has just gone out of sight, I can't believe the price of this place, and it's not anything really too special. I thought I'd better jump in the fire now or be sorry later. The state of CA should LOVE me in addition to the taxes on my smaller plus sales tax plus vehicle registration on three cars plus all the other money I give them each year I now get to add $500 additional dollars in freaking property tax A MONTH!!!!
Whew... well if I suddenly disappeared everyone will know what happened
Here's what I'll be working my butt off for the next 30 years

Home ownership isn't bad at all. It is typically one of the best investments you can make, and now you can play guitar at midnight if you want.

Congratulations. Beautiful house, by the way.

That looks like a hell of a nice house. Congrats. Living in a house is much better than an apartment.

Very nice house!
I have a plan of building a new house and already bought a property for that and paid off last year.
The problem is I don't even have the money to begin with...

So I will have to live in my small house for next several years at least.......

Congrats!

Your trips to the guitar store will be replaced by trips to Home Depot. No joke. Having you own four walls is worth it. Let the equity begin. Congrats!

Yea, I really want to build my own house with my own choices.
So I decided to just buy a property and build my own.
I actually don't have any ideas about house but all I want is a Swimming pool,Jacuzzi and my guitar room...

Nice house! I got mine in Hayward, Ca. for $159.000 in 1994. Now it's going for $450.000
I know what you mean about stress. At the time I had quit smoking for 4 years.
All the stress of buying a house got me smoking again.
Homo-depot rules. I get dizzy just walking into the place.
It doesn't look like your place will need much fixin up though. Good Luck

The guy that built it has a race car and a few Porsches so he wanted the extra car space. It looks strange, but now I can put MY race car in there
It won't need any fixin up as it's never been lived in the guy just built it and changed his mind, I wish I was rich too
