where I live they will take your drivers licence and check your pee every coupld of weeks for a year before you can go and get a new one. which you gotta pay of course.

if I somehow get stoned before I have to drive, I always take care to drink one beer before I go.
if the police stops me and asks if I drank something, I say; japp!!!
they check my alc-concentration tell me "well, still ok sir" and wish a nice evening. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
sounds stupid, but it's way better to get caught coz of drinkin than that stuff.

I always Loved LSD but wasn't big on shrooms. I had a few bad times with Shrooms but LSD was always stellar to me.. I would always trip @ work... I hated how I couldn't trip more than once a week... Pissed me off..

I still smoke weed every day because I still enjoy it. I've always told myself if the day came where I didn't dig it anymore, I'd stop. That day hasn't come yet, so I do what I enjoy. As far as I am concerened I don't care if you do or don't, it's a matter of personal choice, and as long as you don't bother other people with it, either by lecturing/punishing them if they do, or mocking them and annoying them if they don't, it's all good.

As for LSD, once a week is about as often as you can take it. But if you do that regularly, it starts to sort of be like your always on it. I have a "friend" named Ace who used to do it at least that often, along with a whole myriad of other halluciongens on a near daily basis. Throw in a handful of free pills here and there, a bump every now and then, and you've got your own Hunter Thompson cocktail! You need a lot of mental fortitude to understand what's real and what's not. To this day I, errr... he, still sees stuff out of the corner of his eye that he just acknowledges isn't real and and moves on with the day.

Once a week is all the mind can really do not in temr of sanity but in terms of chemical depletion... takes abouta week to recover to "Trip" again. You can get a body buzz going though... Man I used to love acid but you are so right it can mess you up in so many ways....

I doubt takin LSD once a week would be controlable since it causes flashbacks weeks, months and even years later I read. that's what I like about weed.
you smoke it, you enjoy (or not, everyone like he wants to), and two hours later everything is over.
the worst thing ever happening to me was beeing tired next day.
I'd not like to take this LSD-stuff and getting wrecked in my car weeks later coz of such a flashback. it's nowhere predictable and that's where it gets dangerous I think.

What you "think" is contradictory to what I "know". I've had friends climb the wall on acid. That's when you take so much you never need to take it again. Perma-fried. Walking around on window ledges naked claiming to be God. That's after about 20-40 hits. I've got stories of personal experience in this subject that I really shouldn't share, let's just say I've been there.

While I've never been stupid enough to try and drive on acid, driving as soon as the next day has never been a problem. Someone once asked me to pull my car out of the driveway while I was on mushrooms so that they could leave. I didn't want to drive, but everyone told me I could drive 40 feet no problem. At their insistance I went to the car with my keys, but when I couldn't figure out how to get in, they realized I was right and someone else moved the car for me.

Having said that, I have had some flashbacks, but it's not how you describe it. It's not like you are walking along and all of a sudden you black out and are in Oz. It's more like your walking along, a few trees turn into spiderwebs and the world gets crooked. If you can handle that OK, then there's no real problem. You just gotta remember, it's ALL in your head.

Crazy thing though Ace as you know it all effects everyone differently My wife got some weed laced with coke and she started tripping off it and was tweaked on any drugs from that point on although it took 2 years from that point to quit. I had a bro who moved to Haight and Ash climbed the wall and he was tweaked for a good time but he has come back the past few years...

some people freak bad with flashbacks.. I never had that many but it has been 9 years since I dosed so hard to say...
