Their shots aren't called by Bob Rock...they are called ultimately by the label. The label tells Bob Rock what they want, which in turn tells the band how to structure the songs...etc...

This isn't the good old days of artistic freedom anymore...it's all about how many units will the lastest piece of shit sell.
