Does anyone have a copy of the VH concert that was on MTV years ago? It's the one that the Unchained and So this is love videos came from. I beleive it was the Fair Warning tour and I know it was in Oakland.

If so, I would love a copy of it and am willing to pay for it. Let me know

I don't think that was ever released as whole concert. I would think Amazon would have it if they did.

No such thing, it's locked up in the vault. It was Oakland 1981 though

I've got a bunch of DVD's Doc sent me a long time ago, I'll see what's in there. but I think you're talking about the US festival, no?

Does anyone have or know where some more footage from VH in the studio?

It's not the US festival, its the one where MTV used to show clips of Unchained and So this is love.

I also have a video of them from 79 in Fresno and would like to see more of that if anyone has it. Please E-mail me and I will gladly pay for anything anyone has.

I also have the whole Us festival performance on VHS. Quality is fair. I can't copy it, but If someone can transfer it to DVD I'd be willing to let them borrow it (as long as I can get a copy [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]).

I just downloaded a whole concert. 550 frekin megs. Eddie is wearing a red jump suit with the same stripes as his axe and Dave is wearing a white sweaterjacket with bears on it. I'll see how it rips to a DVD or VCD. I have watched about 1/2 of it and I think they only make a refrence to southern California and they haven't played anything more recent than Unchained. The stage has red and white on it almost like the Japaneese flag. Is this the Fair Warnig tour? It looks to be pro shot with multiple camera angles.

I think that is the US Festival show, Does it start off with Romeo Delight? I tried to get it from Kazza and this is Day 5 ,so I jsut canceled it.

Yep, that's what it is. 1/2 way through he mentions 300,000 people there, Van Halen never sold 300K tickets before that I know of.

Rick, if It comes out good enough on CD or DVD, I can mail you a copy. If it comes out like crap, I can set you up with a download that will feed at 70K/sec or so.

HAHAHA, Oh and about hte live Unchained video above, what is the deal with that guitar, it was the only time I ever saw Ed play it or one with out a stripped graphic for that matter. Well it had some kind of stripes , but not hte usual ones and it had some circles on it too.
