OPINIONS NEEDED regarding my new pic posting topic

Hi everyone. It's been almost two weeks since I revamped my picture posting thread into a complete new tutorial and I see some of you have checked it out tacked to the top of the Non J/C Related section or by clicking on the link in my signature below.

So, those who have read it, how do you find it? Especially to those who didn't know how to post pictures before, was my guide helpful to you? Would you like to see more topics covered for a possible next revision? Maybe you didn't even know there's a new version with extra topics covered within and this is the first time you're hearing about it? [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

It took me something like two hours to write and proofread the new topic, making sure the general flow of the text was smooth and that the diagrams were useful and precise.

By the way, I am REALLY not fishing for pity compliments... I just want to know that my two hours invested wasn't a total waste of my time. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I tried doing a vidcap, but couldn't get it to work with Windows Media Player 10. I don't get an option to save the image when I right click. I know you say you have 9, so I don't know if it's the version or me. My guess is me. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] As far as posting images, I think it will help a lot of beginner computer people....just give it time and you'll get some more response. It's also a good resource for some who just forget how by not posting many pics. Whatever the case, you deserve a big thank you for your time/efforts/contribution to this forum! I think it sucks man, hard to understand, incomprehensible and the images are in poor quality. No, I think it's very informing and easy for anyone to understand, like Ron said, if the noobs would just take 5 minutes and read it, we'd be in business and your hard work would show genuine value, as it should.

I think it's very well done and deserves to be tacked and perhaps part of the main rules and regs soemwhere. And I'm certainly with Hollywood, you DO deserve a big thank you for your time/efforts and certainly your contribution to this great community.

I have to say that it is definitely well written and easy to follow. In fact, I think it's easier to read and follow than the pic posting instructions at some other sites I'm on. Great job!

AHHHHH CRAAAAAAAAAP! I just read my pic posting topic again and noticed a huge obvious error on my part. I added TOPIC B as a last minute idea after I was almost ready to submit the topic. As a result, I forgot to change some of the stuff in TOPIC C to E to reflect the changes... I totally missed it!!!!! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

This blows. I'll have to get an admin to make the minor changes after I isolate the little problems. And while I'm at it, I might as well update to Windows Media Player 10 (I've been lazy [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] ) and post screencap instructions for that as well. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Looks like the complete picture posting tutorial isn't so frickin' complete after all... farrrrrrk!!! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] It will be edited after I send the revisions to Sully later tonight since he locked the topic. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
