Escrow.com - Trustworthy / loophole free?

I'm selling a keyboard to some dude over the internet and he has asked me if I would mind using "escrow.com" because the large amount of money that he's going to be sending me makes him 'nervous.'

The entire concept behind Escrow.com seems a little funky to me. Is it a legitimate service? Will I be protected from him lying and saying "Never recieved the item" or anything like that? Has anyone used this service before?

Anyways, what I'm asking is if Escrow.com is a legitimate / trustworthy site. Has anyone had any experience with this site?

Being eBays Approved escrow service, I would assume they´re trustworthy and easy to deal with. Never had to, though [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
