I didn't think the deal was too bad really but hell I know what its like to work a real job (well sort of). If I were were the league, every future proposal would go in the opposite direction than what the PA wants.

I just wish they would cancel the season and get it over with. I miss hockey but I don't have any love for either side at this point.

Oh I got plenty of Respect for the Wings (esoescially when you cheer for a team built to lose by the Wirtz family) but I still hate the Wings...

Even if I wanted to, I couldn't be a Wings fan. Seems that I'm a "bleeder" or a "Hermaphrodite banning machine". Guess I'm on your "list".

I used to not like the Wings even when I was a fan, they sucked for so long. I was a half-empty Joe for one Wings game and was drunk and proceeded to grab a seat next Devellano and tell him for about 10 minutes what the team needed [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] He was pretty much just nodding his head thinking get this drunk-ass rock and roller outta here [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Was nice to see them win after a 42 years of nutin.

There is hope for the Blackhawks, if the Wings can suck for a long time and become a near dynasty, so can Chicago.

I also don't understand the hatred some folks have for them any team. I understand rivalries and all but if you are a true fan and love the game of hockey, you like all great players regardless of what color of sweaters they wear.

I love the history of Hockey. I love all of the Original 6 except for Detroit, and that's because of the rivalry. Now, individual players who have played there are another story. Gordie Howe, "Terrible" Ted Lindsay, and Terry Sawchuck have my undying respect.
