I don't need any serial numbers, I wanted to clean out my windows registry of all the garbage and ghosts.

I found a pretty good free one called TweakNow RegCleaner. The base version is free and it did a pretty good job. Most of these things will do a free registry scan and make you pay to clean sweep.

It really does make a difference. Especially in situations where you've upgraded OS (I went from 98 to XP) and have been installing and uninstalling crap for years.

Bummer, just tried that one with my Windows 2000 Professional, and it locks up at "Help Section" during the scan...

Must want you to buy the paid version, hehe...

Hey, I think you have to use the personal one. It did a good job on my XP box. I did not try the Pro version.
