Hey Em NP there are 3 things that turn me on about a woman beautiful long hair, if she is a musician of some kind, & if she can weild a sword & willing to dawn armor. The last 2 are not requirements just a bonus

[/ QUOTE ]

As for the armor - I've actually had the pleasure (I guess you could call it that!) of wearing a chainmail head cover. I can't remember what it's actually called, but it's the piece that covers the head and neck. Heavy stuff!

Re: long hair...

I got mine cut off in '98 after having it long for over 12 years. Sometimes I wish I had it back, sometimes I'm ok with short hair.
When I see "cool hair", I want mine back

And I did notice something recently - I used to use Pantene (the 2-in-1) and when I got out of the shower there was a TON of hair in the drain. I thought it was just male-pattern baldness setting in, till this chick at work (Pentacostal with the loooooooooong hair) said it was making her hair fall out - then I switched back to Pert Plus (used to use that all the time till they dropped the 2-in-1 formula for a while), and I'm not losing nearly as much (about "normal").

I may try that Tamin' Male (as my Aunt calls it)
Hey, if it's good enough for the hair that grows from a horse's ass, it's good enough for my scalp

Yes, Pantene makes your hair fall out. And they test on animals, at least, last I heard they did.
I got turned onto that Mane and Tail when I worked as a veterinary surgical nurse!
It smells good too, so you won't smell like a horse's ass or anything like that.
I don't work for them or anything, I just love the shampoo.
I still can't believe how ghey this thread is.

hair is power. in fact, if i ever see sight of me losing
any of mine, i will staple a piece of the carpet to the top of my head. i don't care what color either.
i love long hair, since i was born. i was the youngest of 8 kids, and my 3 brothers were mongoloid hippie/rockers, so they used to have to drag me to the barber. the haircuts stopped around 6th grade. i just out and out refused.

Re: long hair...

Thanks Drake! I have a real appreciation for those that go around in full chain mail. Just wearing that piece for 3-4 hours a night got very heavy!

As for the hair - I've had hair as long as to the back of my knees and as short as just above my shoulders. I also have the issue of dry hair. One of my favorite shampoos is called All Soft by Redken. My hair ends up so soft and manageable.

One tip to help with breakage - do not brush your hair while wet. It does a lot of damage to it. Use a wide toothed comb to work through it. And be sure that when you do condition your hair to fully work the conditioner through your hair. Also once every 5-7 washes you should use a different shampoo - it will help prevent build up on your hair from your shampoo. (used to work in a hair salon and have a cosmetologist for a best friend.)

I'm gonna try that shampoo of yours Em. Does it come in a shampoo and conditioner in one bottle? I can't be standing around opening and closing all kindsa bottles when I'm naked, I don't have that kinda time.

Kind of like peanut butter and Jelly in the same jar?

We used to love peanut butter… still do. I saw something in the store the other day that I don’t understand, that peanut butter and jelly in the same jar. Is there a point to that? I mean… I mean I’m lazy, but… I wanna meet the guy who needs that. Some guy going, “You know I could go for a sandwich, but uh, I’m not gonna open TWO jars! I can’t be opening and closing all kinds of jars… cleaning, who KNOWS how many knives!?!” If you’re that lazy, why not put croutons in there and get the whole sandwich on a spoon. You know, just scoopin’ it out… “Mmm…Oh, scrumptious!! I think I’m gonna have another one. Uh, mmmmm… DELECTABLE!! As was the first!” Or if you don’t wanna clean the spoon, you put it all in a squeeze bottle. “Mmmm! Lunch and no clean up!! Can life get better? I submit that it CANNOT!!”

My hair is getting close to being waist level... maybe another year or two. I've cut off my hair three different times in my life, when I was a teenager, and twice in my 20's. I've regretted it each and every time. I will not cut my hair shorter than halfway down my back ever again. This much I'm sure of.

[/ QUOTE ]

Exact opposite for me... I cut twice longest being down my back ½ way... Went straight to skin from that. No regrets although I don't shave it anymore. I got a lot of freaking hair.... Like Morrison hair.... My hair grows super fast though...

Anyway... speaking of food... y'all DO know that mayonnaise is good for your hair, right?
Yeah, about once a month just take a ginormus spoonful and work it in before you shampoo. Then do your normal routine.
Makes your hair super duper strong and Gah-geous!!

Ciao.
