Brad you don't want to sell this do you?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well gear whore that I am everything's for sale ... for a price ... but that's one I'd like to hang onto for a while so the price would be outrageous (thanks again to Pete for giving me a shot at it). It just works really well with the Vetta, sounds as good or better than anything else I have right now.

Strat Ultra, it's part of the Strat Plus line: locking machines, Wilkinson roller nut, tremsetter, ebony board, the 5-way switch is standard Strat but there's also a 3-way toggle so you can get either of the bridge pups individually or both together as a humbucker whenever the bridge position is in the mix via the 5-way. Basically it's a Strat for people who don't like the tuning instability of a standard Strat or the thin glassy sound of most Strat pups (the lace sensors are very quiet but they sound nothing like traditional Strat pups). It's also extremely photogenic, the flame is nowhere near as good as the pics.

The other Strat in the pic is a Contemporary Strat that's the next evolution of the same idea. They changed from a Wilkinson to an LSR roller nut, added a Fender/Floyd locking vintage trem, dropped the lace sensors in favor of Texas Specials & a S/D hummer, slapped a custom shop plate on it and charged a lot more money for the final product. And Pat - stop whining she's on a blankie.

+1 on the welcome home, my brother-in-law just arrived in country a few weeks ago and is not particularly enjoying himself. Glad you made it back safely.

That's a very nice collection for 7 months! If I'd accumulated at that rate for the last 20+ years I'd have hundreds and hundreds by now.
