Need to make a good Metal Mix CD

a little project for another board... I am going to do 2 CDs each with a loose theme of sorts but I need best suggestions of some deeper tracks. We ae trying to exapand each others interests... any suggestions are more than welcome... I have some idea's but I want this to have excellent representation of the Genre and subgenre's

pfff....thats a tough one, given the fact that metal is such a HUGE genre. here are some of my suggestions

slayer.....definitely some slayer...my vote goes to angel of death, maybe war ensemble...or hell awaits
metallica...anything from the MOP/AJFA era
maiden....number of the beast...classic [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
black sabbath...i'm not the biggest sabbath fan, so there are surely other guys who are more qualified to make a suggestion, but i'd say heaven and hell and/or sabbath bloody sabbath
accept - fast as a shark [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
pantera - cementary gates, cowboys from hell
death....anything....it's all good...symbolic, trapped in a corner, flesh and the power it holds are some of my faves
get some cannibal corpse in there, too....unleashing the bloodthirsty is pretty cool imo
children of bodom.....mmh....tough one....kissing the shadows is pretty cool, follow the reaper, deadnight warrior
NEVERMORE....anything....it's all outstanding...engines of hate, i voyager, enemies of reality, seven tongues of god, C.B.F......etcetc
megadeth-peace sells, but who's buying...peace sells, but who's buying?!?!?!?! *sing along*
manowar...HAIL, HAIL, HAIL AND KILL...speaking of killing leads me to the next one..->
kreator - pleasure to kill, extreme aggression
judas priest - painkiller, metal meltdown, breaking the law, living after midnight...etcetc
get some dream theater in there, too....for the sake of completeness (is that a word?)...as i am, in the name of god, the great debate, pull me under, fatal tragedy....

..Yeah, I think both DF albums may be a safe bet.

(Although Valley of the Damned is better!) And Herman Li's always fun for crazy widdly whammy'd shreddy stuff.
