I've also seen both bands. I saw Pearcy a couple of years ago with Vince Neil's solo band, and also last year. Saw Warren's Ratt twice or three times. Imo, go to the show, you'll dig it. I liked every show I've seen of both bands, and I saw Ratt several times in the eighties.

Saw the Warren/Bobby version on the Metal Edge tour a couple of years ago. Haven't seen SP version, but my brother has, and don't think he was all that impressed. About train wrecked 1 song. Bottomline, both versions suck compared to the mid 80's version. I have a hard time getting into bands after they lose key members, i.e. Van Halen. Maybe you will like them though.

No, I actually meant Tom Croucier, Juan's brother, who happens to be a very good guitar player.

Metalcop is right Tom Croucier has actually done some recording work with Don Dokken, Juan was the original Bass Player for Dokken before getting signed so there is a little history with Juans Brother in the old L.A. scene as well.

Re: I saw Stephen Pearcy last night

Here is a little thread resurection. They were playing a small club here in NJ. One guitar player looked like Joe Perry playing a Fender Strat through a Tripple Rectifier. The other guy looked like a punk rocker playing a Fender Tele through a Dual Rectifier.

Pearcy's voice, as everyone has stated, is not the best. His band was very good though and I really enjoyed it. They played all the classics and both guitar players seemed to have no trouble pulling off the material.

Here are some of the songs they played as best as I can remember.

Wanted Man
I'm Insane
Lay it Down
Lack of Communication
Walking the Dog
Slip of the Lip
Back for More
Way Cool Jr.
Body Talk
You Got Another Thing Coming- Priest
Round and Round

There were a few others but they are slipping my mind at the moment.

Ratt used to be a priest cover band before doing originals.I read that in motleys book "the dirt".
