I dont get it either when someone says they gave up thier career to be with someone.It should read "I gave up on my career".Basically, she found her sugar-daddy and kicked it at home with Mick instead of doing underwater documentries(which is what i believe they said in the motley behind the music episode). Personally, i believe that you should leave with what you came into the relationship with.It was his house she moved into, so she's not on the mortgage.If say, they started a buisiness together, then that should be split 50/50. Palimony is lame. If a guy sued for that (like if Britney Spears husband was suddenly kicked to the curb), he would be laughed out of court.
