[/ QUOTE ] I have no idea if it's Brazilian or not. I doubt it for the price. The grain in the fingerboard is really cool, its got three distinct colors, with bold streaks running the length of the fingerboard. I'll try to get a better pic.

I would say they would use brazilian on that. Even tho it is no longer imported since the 70's? pretty rare,one would think there would be some overstock for these kinds of high end runs.

I'm not good at telling Indian rosewood from Brazilian rosewood, but damn, that is one beautiful straight-grained piece of rosewood for your fretboard. [img]/images/graemlins/drool2.gif[/img]
