yep. if no deal is done before next year its replacement players. Tom Hicks who owns the Stars said (I heard him say so on the radio) there would be Dallas Stars Hockey next season regardless if current NHL players play or not.

If no deal is done there is impasse laws in some cities in Canada that make it illegal for workers to cross the picket lines.

There are no winners in any of this. Both sides are to blame, players, owners and the league who over expanded. We don't need a 30 team NHL.

Bettman needs to be removed ASAP. HE tried to market this
league like the NBA and watered it down to sh*t.
We are probably going to lose at least 4-6 teams in the weaker markets over this.
