They should have gotten new players, and shipped these assholes out to Siberia to play with the polarbears. Oh well, hopefully a few of them will declare bankrupcy and they can learn what its like to have a regular job..........

At this point Goodenow and Bettman should both be fired. This is what it's all about for their jobs and they both failed. No one won and every one lost. Both the league and players need new leadership that are willing to start talking now about next season.

As much as I don't like Bettman what he was saying in the press conference was making sense, especially that the union doesn't know the economics of the league. How can you negotiate if you don't have a grasp on league revenues?

I guess I need to listen to an NHLPA press conference now.

The other thing that the NHLPA has to look at is simply the economics of the NHL is not as great as the NFL MLB or even NBA... They need to be reasonable. I think the owners lose in the NBA and aren't doing great in the MLB either.. The NFL with smaller salaries but less games and more players... I actually really like the NBA's CBA which I am very familiar with.. What is funny 5 years after it was instituted Players and owners are just figuring it out and I think the owners will have more pwoer in the renegotiation of it when it is up for it at the end of the season...

well, i guess it's up to the NEW YORK YANKEES to step in and save the fukkin' league. hell, they pay MLB over 60 million last year in the so called "profit sharing" program.-lol it's more like profit raping. i'll call mr. steinbrenner from the office now as he is my dad ya know.
