Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. My aunt just had a bad stroke and I know what it's like to deal with that. I hope she gets well. Think of the good memories.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family,
      Chris

Re: I think I just spoke the last words

Bro, I was checking in here...I've been away ...busy with the family.

I was there as my Grandama was leaving..she lived with us all of her life and was as close to me as my Father and Mother..

She took a part of me with her..

                I'm so sorry man...

                Your friend,

Re: I think I just spoke the last words

Thanks everybody, they are allowing her to go to my Uncle's house instead of Hospice. This is really tough. She has 23 grandchildren, everybody in the family always said that of all the grandchildren she and I have the closest bond. She's a fighter and no matter what happens she will always be an inspiration to me. Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers.

Re: I think I just spoke the last words

Grandma is at my uncle's house but not coherent. She is somewhere she would be comfortable and I feel so helpless sitting here waiting on the call but I feel a certain comfort knowing that my last words to her were letting her know I love her. I am not counting her out yet. She is a strong woman, she has already survived a stroke and breast cancer but it really looks like this is the end. I will keep you all updated and I really appreciate the support. I only know you all through this board but I consider you all some of my best friends. Thank you all for being here for me during this time.
