    I can't stand Alexi Laiho. Boo fucking hoo, your life sucked, and you tried to kill yourself and you ate pills and drank. Aren't we a little criminal Alexi. You're fucking mom let you stay home from school, to play guitar! How bad could life have sucked? I looked forward to a drug addled family, and a step father who beat the fuck out of us, and I'm sure there are people who've had it worse than me, you, and your dogs life, and they aren't bitching about it either.

    I think all the hype over him being the next big guitar hero is so much bullshit. I've not heard him do ANYTHING that QUITE a few people here on the JCF could pull off. His songs aren't anything special, and any assclown could scream into a mic and bash out some 4ths, 5ths, and play some fast licks over it if they practiced a little bit.

    Bottom line, his music sucks, he sings like a dying cat, he whines about his life like a little bitch, and he's not Godlike, and shouldn't even be included with players like Vai, and Wylde.

      Umm.....No, he's referring to how their music is a technical romp through wonder land, and how he thinks music shouldn't be that way. He's saying the band has great musicians, but the music they make is just them showing off. He's not talking about how bored they look. For that matter, have you even seen Dream Theater? I saw them with the Ryche, and Fates Warning, and the guys in DT sure as hell looked like they were having fun to me.

            anyway I agree with him about that Laiho shouldn't talk like some punk ass kid, a lot of guitar heroes have had a shitty life, but they don't complain. Life isn't easy, he has to accept that and go on with his life and stop talking rubbish.

                          Alexi is young, remember. But if he wants to have the longevity of Vai and Satriani (or even Zakk), he might want to pick up a little humility on the way.

                          Talking smack about other musicians in print is pretty bush league. It's one thing to say all that to your friends, but quite another to do it in public. His quote really says a lot more about him and his immaturity than it does about Petrucci and DT.

                          Zakk has certainly said some inflamatory things in print about other musicians, and it doesn't reflect well on him, either. He did less of that in this interview, however, and that shows growth, in my opinion.
