Jordan sure as hell got Star Treatment no doubt. jordan was also dirty as hell you knew if you play the bulls you always wear your cup jordan liked to punch guys in the nuts he got Mutumbo once real good.

Gretzky had his goons and the unsaid rule was out there for him no doubt but the guy was still one hell of a player... He wouldn't have made it in Chicago though we need our players to earn their paychecks

If he came to Chicago, Wirtz would have traded him for a pair of socks and a stick of gum. He's got a habit of developing talent and letting it go for cheap. Want proof... Anders Erikson.

Whhat about the all-time bright idea of paying Doug Gilmour more money than Brett Hull who was dying to come here. Did Doug even finish his contract here?

Oh, don't get me started on that one... I'm still not sure if that was Wirtz's brain-dead idea or Mike Smith's. (thank god he got fired) I think to get out of his contract, Gilmour "retired" but then went back for a year with Montreal and then Toronto. I like Gilmour, but I would rather have had Hull. And when they brought Paul Coffey here, man that was a bust!

Yeah I think Wirtz was pro Hull but it was a huge botch (worse than the Bears Dave McGinnis) Hull was dying to play here... and was going to be cheaper and better than Doug... Flat out stupid. Yeah not much good can be talked about the Hawks indeed the last time they were even a real team guys like Roenick and Chellios still had some indian in them...
