I am for this as long as I don't have to do any actual work and am on the receiving end. I would be willing to hoof up to 4 Chicago blocks with hardshell case until I can afford a new car, at which time I would then be willing to take a guitar within Illinois borders. Yes, I have been drinking, let's not focus on it.

When it absolutely, positively has to be there sooner or later.

I like the idea. I would be content with waiting a couple weeks if a guitar was being shipped
to me through JCF channels. I've got to drive 25 miles to the local music store just to get
a dam box anyway.

And there are those, like me, who travel a lot during the course of the year. Last year I drove
to Boston, Minneapolis, Philly, Baltimore and Atlanta. I probably passed by 1/3 of all the JCFers
in between. And I go to Nashville every June. So there are times when a guitar could go a long
way with just one person.
