I think they will tighten up. They went for the quick fix after the strike and loved the uped power post lockout. In 99 with Shams and Mac going after the record Baseball was back. what were they to blow the whistle then on Roids? would have been a bad revenue decision right then and there but since then the MLB is back and more established and this is a better time fiscally and fan wise to act. It can play the "we didn't know" angle right now and do something and come out smelling like a rose

Yeah I agree with all these thoughts,Bonds keeps saying does it improve hand eye...does it does it does it. Ummm no but how about bat speed Barry.truth be told the ball is jumpier then ever the newer parks are getting smaller...and with all these teams there are some starting pitchers who could not have thrown batting practice twenty years ago.It is a shame really but baseball...as with most sports is catering to the casual fan that just wants to see more offence(500 ft home runs in baseballs case)
