I felt like one this morning on the 'L'. There I was reading a big hard-cover Star Wars book and all of a sudden my Palm Pilot rings out the Imperial March.

OK, I'm going to geek out here... But the powers of the sith take their toll. Within the Star Wars Universe (Dark Empire comics) the dark side of the force decays the body, hence the Emperor's private cloning facilities at Mount Tantiss despite the outlawing of cloning after the Clone Wars.

If I remember the comics correctly, yes. Yet there were more in reserve I believe it was Leia who took care of those. It's been about 10 years since I read them.
