Yeah, pretty much. My ex-wife was even more psycho, though. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] And the best part of it all is my ex is terrified of cats, especially all black ones, so it's a blessing in disguise that I got him within a few months after she moved out. He keeps her away!! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I just got two cats last week. A boy and a girl. (brother and sister) They were abandoned by their mother and a friend's mom took care of them. They're still basically outside cats, but they're both terrified of everything.

They're starting to come around, slowly but surely they'll stop hiding under the bed.

Yeah, eventually they'll get used to everything. My aunt told me that Savanna originally came from an abusive home and she wouldn't come out from her bed for awhile. When I took her here, she stayed under the bed for about a month, only came out at night to eat and use the litter box when she thought I was asleep. She's used to me now and is actually very outgoing and affectionate, doesn't spook as easily at every little noise.

I forgot the best part of having a cat. Catnip. Give them some of that and they'll just trip out for about an hour straight. The best part is when they start fighting each other for the catnip.
