Frances The Mute .. Anyone else like this?

Man I just picked this up for the large cost of $7 new @ Best Buy. I really am liking this... 2nd concept album for me this week.. Vai's being the first. I really dig the slasa beats and grooves. I was never a big fan of At The Drive In but the previous Mars Volta disc got so much critical hype (even from Steve Vai himself) I had to check it out. Real interesting disc

I thought that Deloused in the Comatorium was awesome, so I'm probably gonna pick up Frances the Mute later on in the week when I go cd shopping. I loved At The Drive In, in fact I think I like them a little more than Mars Volta or Sparta.

Yeah I might have to go back and check out At The Drive In at the time I just thought they were a bad Fugazi rip off and discredited them They deserve a fair shot after hearing Mars...

wow, i should really go back and check out Deloused again. lastfew listens awhile back had me thinking i was listening to some Cosmological stuff.
