• Dime's Gravesite

I had a chance to visit Dime's gravesite this morning. He's buried right next to his mother. The family plot is marked with a huge stone that says Abbott but Dime doesn't have a stone yet. There are dimes, guitar picks, beer bottles, Crown bottles and bags, Jagermeister bottles, you name it...proped up around the family stone. The grass where he is buried isn't even grown in yet.

It was kind of weird, he's buried in a family plot in the middle of Arlington, TX. Here's Dime...I was of course the only person around. This guy played some of the best guitar ever heard and I'm standing at his grave.

When I pulled up to the cemetary I was thinking "how am I gonna find Dime's grave? The place was pretty big. I drove to the center of the cemetary, got out of the car...and walked straight to it. I couldn't have parked any closer.

Anyway, just wanted share this here. See ya' Dime

Still wierd to know he's gone like that. Don't know why but I still half expect to see Damageplan when they put out a new album. Of course that's not happening, but it hasen't really sunk in like that

That wild man!
We I drove to see Randy Rhoads' grave a couple years ago...I pulled right into the cemetery, parked and it was right there....granted it's a huge mausoleum (sp?)...it was very solemn...the emotions I felt just standing there at the gate was wild...there was lipstick on the marble wall...
RIP Donny Swanstrom...JCF bro
RIP Dime

Hey bro, that's amazing that you walked right to his grave like that...I guess Dime was expecting you. That must have been emotional for you...I'd like to leave something at his grave and pay my respects as well. Thanks again for the CD and vids you gave me. Stop by and visit again anytime.
