  • How do you save RealPlayer files to your computer?

I tried to save a RealPlayer file to my computer, but it is not truly on my computer. When you double-click to open it, it still has to find and stream the file off the internet.

My question is how can I save it?

This is why I absolutely ABHOR using RealPlayer.

Maybe these files are non downloadable such as some samples of new movies and new music on Yahoo.
So everytime you want to play them, you have to go on internet.

Open the file in a hex editor such as UltraEdit. It should have the URL in text format.

oh man, what software did I use to grab streaming real vid? Maybe StreamboxVCR? Can't remember for sure. I used to use different applications for different formats.
