I liked The DaVinci Code & thought it was a pageturner, but I agree w/ Mudkicker about the character development. Could have been better. Ellroy fans should check out Jim Thompson (probably best known for The Grifters), as Ellroy was a huge fan of his & helped to popularize his work. Thompson hardly made a dime before he died.

Yeah I have to check out Thompson's work.

Chuck Palahniuk's new book Haunted is going to be out in just under a month and honestly it looks fairly interesting

Seriously you do not need to read it by my standards... Bill Foucault's Pendulum is far more interesting I highly suggest it

I got it this weekend, but I also have "Star Wars: Labrynth of Evil" which is the book that comes just before "Return of the Sith" chronologically. I just finished "Donnie Brasco: Deep Cover" by Joseph Pistone today, so if I ride home tonight I'll crack it, if I walk it'll be tomorrow before I start.

Mostly psuedo-science of philosophy. Books like The Science of Good and Evil. I'm just finishing up Existentialism and Human Emotion right now. But of course, I always am a sucker for a good adventure novel.

New book that I'm sure a lot of you will want to read...

"Off the Rails -- My Adventures in the Land of Ozz" by Rudy Sarzo.

                                Just picked up three books

The highly JCF recommended "House of Leaves"
                                "American Psycho"
"Haunted" by Chuck Palahinuk (fight club etc...)
