the ONLY cool thing ive seen come out of this is that i occasionally see Islanders players at IceWorks (the practice rink), where I have midnight hockey league games. Ive met some of them, and they're all a bit upset as well..Comment

I can't believe any of you would actually go to hockey game after all this. The players/owners/whoever just shit all over you - I wouldn't give them another freakin' nickel of my money. You wouldn't accept this sort of treatment from any other business. All that's going to come of you losing your entertainment and all the associated fun/fanfare for this season is that the ticket prices are going to go up as will all the ancillary things (food, drinks, swag).I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

I'll be sitting pretty next season...some smart local sports guys are bringing our old minor league team, the Phoenix Roadrunners, back to town. I won't pay through the nose and I'll get lots of entertainment for the buck. Sure, the ECHL isn't the NHL...but the 'Runners always had great fans and atmosphere who were there to watch hockey. Way better than the Coyotes fans, who were there to be seen watching hockey.Comment
