ho is your favorite... Breadth of work considered. Personally for me it is Blake Schwarzenbach (Jawbreaker & Jets To Brazil) Consistently good with some great writing. Who is it for you. Lyrics only need to be considered not so much the music

Re: Favorite Lyricist
Overall, Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull. Way too many cultural "wink-wink, nudge-nudge" references that Tull fans have literally spent decades trying to sort out completely.
Syd Barrett's surreal tone poetry has to get some kind of special mention. Frank Zappa was like the stand-up comic of rock'n'roll. Dave Mustaine has come up with a lot of clever hooks. Paul McCartney. David Bowie. Peter Gabriel.please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking

Kiss of course. If you don't believe me, check out a few classic quotes:
Plaster, Caster, grab a hold of me faster...
Baby wants it fast, Baby wants a blast, She wants a Rocket Ride
You pull the trigger of maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, Love Gun
So baby please, get on your knees, there are no bills, there are no fees
When she met me, said she'd get me, Touched her hips and told me that she'd let me
Down on your knees, this is love in the first degree, Down on your knees, and tonight the lovin's on me
I'm a legend tonight, Gonna make you feel right, When you reach out of the light
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

Anybody not trying to be political, philosophical, display or showcase their self acclaimed wisdom. Keep it fun and simple.
If I need or want a discourse on politic's, philosophy or pyschology I'll go to the library or enroll in class.Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...
"Anyone who tries to fling crap my way better have a really good crap flinger."
I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.
Yes, there's a bee in the pudding.
