    I have to say for me it is Paul Simon.

    I had to edit because I somehow almost for Morrissey, yeah, the lyrics he wrote for The Smiths are just amazing.

              I like a lot of different stuff, but these days, i really like Cory Putnam, the new vocalist of Norma jean...

              he really captures with how i wrote, like poetry, but in an interesting way...

              i think he uses a main emotion or event, and translates it abstractly in different ways of expressing it, in written ideas...i dunno, it just showed me how a lot of things in hxc were really poetic, in a screaming, angry, non-emo way, lol. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

                  I think Daniel Gildenlow of Pain Of Salvation is one of if not the greatest lyricist ever. Very moving and powerful, I can't listen to POS without getting emotional.

                  Honorable mentions to Ronnie James Dio, and Jorn Lande.

                    Jay Forrest, Chris Kincaid, Greg Antonnito and Bryan Kienlen, Mike Ness, Ian MacKaye (Minor Threat, not so big on Fugazi).
