So...Billy Idol has a new vid playing on VH1 for a song called "Scream". The video is cool, he looks unbelievably similar to the way he looked in the 80’s and the song actually rocks pretty damn hard.

It even has a killer guitar solo complete with rapid 2 handed pick tapping!!! Rock and roll lives!!! The guitar solo is oficially back... [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Yeah, I saw them on Leno last night too. Steve sounded great. And of course, Billy looked like he needs a good meal. As far as it being a hit, these days the kids arent into the blatant sex lyrics so much (unless youre a rapper). Theyre more into the Wahhh, my life sucks so much and my daddy doesnt love me, Im so confused, Wahhhhhhh, stuff. Please, get a f-in job I say!! [img]/images/graemlins/rant.gif[/img]

I think I saw 4 marshall cabs and the guitar was a smoked mirror colored thing. It was sort of Tele shaped with a dark markerless fretboard and a prs looking headstock. And he had a bunch of pedals on a little board. I didnt notice the head or what the pedals were.

I didn't see it, but Steve has been pretty much been exclusively using Godin guitars for the past few years.

yeah, it was a mirrored godin somethingorother.

i saw 4 marshall cabs, didn't see a head. sounded a little too perfect, so it's possible that the guitars were a tape. who knows.

I like the new song..a lot. I'll have to get the CD, and see if it's as good as the first single. As far as it being a hit, they're playing it on the radio up here all the time. Plus, let's face it, if anyone deserves a comeback, it's Billy. Him and Stevie just plain kick ass!!
