The original "black and tan" was a mix of Bass pale ale, with guinness poured on top. Or the other way around. Anyways, I used this idea to avoid throwing away this potent, but very bitter beer I made. The yuengling lager mellows it to just about the right drinkability. And, a kickass buzzo to boot.

The Yeungling Lagers (can) are 13.99 a case here.
Most premiums are 9.99 to 12.99 a twelve pack.
High ABV's are a whole other planet. They just were legalised six months ago.
They are asking way too much, in my opinion for "abbey ales", like 12 dollars a four pack. Maybe they figure rednecks can't do the math, or just because it's so new here.
