Ok, Kazaa sucks....anything better??

No matter what I try to download on Kazaa it never works. I always get "more sources needed" or "remotely qued". If I try downloading 20 songs and 2 come through it's been a good day. I can let it run for hours and still nothing. Anyone else have these problems? Are there any better programs out there to download music?

yeh pretty much I have given up on free music my time is not sorth it I would rather pay than waste time IMO

You will get just about everything you want.
There are more websites like that where people post torrent files.
I was talking with another JCF member the other day how excited we were able to get about 50-60 Bootleg shows of Megadeth that someone posted.
Also I saw someone posted tons of Ozzy bootlegs from Randy eras - Zakk and especially cool that many of Jake's were there too.

If your connection is fast and downloading something popular,you should be able to download 30CDs a day or several movies/concert videos.

I picked up a 2003 Nightwish concert on Torrentspy the other night to make myself feel better (or worse) for not going to their show here last weekend. Great quality too.

If you love Metal stuff, the best site to visit is www.kerrazy-torrents.com
You have to sign up but easy and free.
I have checked many websites like this and I have to say this is teh best website to visit and cool part is the website is a forum style like JCF.
So you knwo who are posting torrents.
It is much safe to download from people you know and also you can post requests of what you want.
if you are lucky, people will upload some stuff for you.

You can not believe how much stuff people put there.
I probably downloaded 10 Megadeth Live Video shows there.
Also 100 Metallica bootlegs from every tour since early 80's when Mustaine was still in the band.

Kazaa used to be decent for looking up porn. But I haven't tried in a while. It might suck at that now, too.

Forgive me if I am being dense, but if I download music does it become a music file on my computer that I can freely do whatever I want with. (like an mp3 or a wav)

I use Limewire..I really like it. I get everything metal...videos, it's great. Easy to use also.

Limewire is the best one at the moment.

Soulseek was good, but I'm having a hard time finding files these days and it's no where near as fast as Limewire.

Bit torrent was the best for a while but they're cracking down on them, soon it'll be much harder to find torrents.
