Problems w/ Search Function?

Is anyone else having problems with the board's search function? It had been working great up until a week or two ago, but lately I get a lot of "cannot proceed" or "cannot perform another search at this time" messages, & I've tried some simple searches that yielded results before but now return no matches. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] Just wondering if there is a known issue.

That happens to me all the time, the "cannot... another..." business.

I get the "cannot make another search at this time" all the time. I try and do a search so i don't look like more of a tool than i already do when i want a question answered or searching for an old thread i was involved in...

I figured this was the reason they gave ron his 5000 posts back.

With the search not working properly he can't use his usual:

"Use the search option newbie [img]/images/graemlins/poke.gif[/img]"

And thats gotta be dippin into his post count.

I think they implemented a minimum time between searches with the last board upgrade. Seems like about 10 minutes between searches. Cuts down on server side usage I think.

Thanks! I think that has to be it, because it usually happens when I try to refine a search or change the date range & rerun it.

And the home page STILL never fully loads on the first try. Always works after hitting "refresh", though. ...Weird.

I'm assuming this is all stuff Jeremy broke with the downtime/Board upgrade a few weeks back. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
